I can connect to the other SQL server instance on the same server no problem.

I can connect locally...

The SQL Server Network Interface library could not register the Service Principal Name (SPN) is also showing

After messing about with kerberos utilities and SPNs I had to configure the NAV server to use the SQL logins to get around this as I never figured out why it would start behaving this way - it was something to do with the dynamic ports and there being a static 2008 SQL server instance on the same box. Bluugh!
