Trying to connect to a Windows 2012 R2 Remote Desktop Gateway Server from a Windows 7 Pro PC

'Your computer can't connect to the remote computer because the web proxy server requires authentication. To allow unauthenticated traffic to an RD gateway server through your web proxy server, contact your administrator'

Is this a change required to their proxy server or to our RD Gateway Server?
