I am having an issue with myu Windows PC

The start menu just keep rolling back to the beginning when I let go of all of the keys and mouse.

It is affecting drop-down menus on the web as they close instantly when I try to use them.

What can I do?

I have restarted and all the usual jazz....?

Do you have a wireless Xbox xontroller plugged in or a wireless mouse or keyboard?

Sometimes the Windows system detects a movement and it doesn't detect the cancel. Try unplugging your Xbox controller or unplugging you USB dongle for you wireless mouse or keyboard and then plug it back into a different USB slot so that the system has to reconfigure the direction inputs from scratch.
