Is this error from the IP helper Service important?

Legend has it, that if you disable the Smart Card Device Enumeration Service, this problem goes away.

Note that this is when the above error coincides with slow logon.

You can also choose ask for password over Smart card or Windows Hello for Business in the mstsc client:
