StorageWorks Windows 2016 1600 G2 - base system device even though iLO2 is already installed???

The solution is to update the drive and say to Windows 'i will pick the driver' and then choose all types of device.

After the list loads, go to hewlett packard company and about halfway down there are 2 iLO devices - choose the first one (legacy support or something simliar) and that will load OK.
