Dell latitude powers on then off straight away.

Latitude 7440

Fans go for about a second then all the lights go out and fans stop.

I have tried:

  • different PSUs
    • CMOS battery removal and holding power button w/o battery or power
    docking station[/list]

    I cannot change the BIOS because it does not power up!

    BTW the wireless and battery light flash while it is off.

    Sounds like the system board is broken
