On my Dell 720 I have replaced a 300GB faulty SAS disk with another but I am seeing:

Controller ID: 0 PD rebuild not possible as SAS/SATA is not supported in an array PD 00:1:1

Any clue?
Recycling Computers  is my hobby so if you have any old PCs or Macs..

Oops - I just realised it was a SATA in position 0, not an SAS so it cannot rebuild
Recycling Computers  is my hobby so if you have any old PCs or Macs..
