Just ran mmc.exe and added local machine certificates to the view.

Deleted certificate and reimported and I could select it no problem.

I think this was caused because I tried to install it remotely and the certificate must have somehow not imported correctly. From now on I will stick to replacing the certificate when logged in locally.
