why does rai radio cut out all the time when using the RAI radio player? 👻

I am on WiFi sending to my Pioneer HiFi by AirPlay and no other radio station seems to cut out all of the time, but I am faced with this:

RAI Radio Player cuts out m4a

Is this an issue with my AirPlay or with the iPhone or the Internet connection?

Is there a way I can use Cast or get round these stupid restrictions on TuneIn that have been added for no reason at all?
