Hello

I have an Apple Macbook A1466 which does not appear to be charging.

...It does not power on either, it just shows the dreaded battery dead sign when first plugged-in but does not illuminate the charger plug green as I would expect.

Even if I leave the charger plugged in for hours there is no change.

Do I need a new battery, or is it more serious?

I have tried different chargers to no avail.
