Hello

I am trying to recover a disk that someone has been using for photographs and videos but it has also been used in a 'Zombie partitioned' disk hub that shows the following:

2 x 1.9 TB partitions (one is showing as encrypted with Bitlocker???)
1 x 2.72 TB partition RAW

There are quite a few bad blocks on the disk tot, and it is very slow to respond.

When I scan with a disk repair software I can see that there is a 2.72 NTFS partition for the photos, but that it is overlapped by the other partitions.

Can I delete these Zombie partitions without destroying the data on the damaged NTFS partition?

I could possibly have deleted the partitions but that would have been dangerous. In the end I actually got sircles to recover the data in advance of making any changes and then copied the photos onto a new disk.

Best not to make any more changes when things get tricky 😞
