After making a very simple domain join and add applications set-up using the basic Windows Configuration Designer set-up, we are experiencing problems with the set-up at every stage.

Firstly, it does do the domain join but then just restarts and cannot load the network files even though they should be available to the domain joined machine.

Secondly, the system tries to install all of the applications before rebooting and so it doesn't work, how can I instruct it to reboot and then use the domain admin account to install the applications?

If i try and run the deployment package as the domain admin manually, I get:

Provisioning Failure - installation of a package failed. Please work with the package author to diagnose the problem. Reported error code: 0x800700b7

Presumably because it is already on the domain.
