I have two 4TB SATA disks - how can I add them to my Mac Pro and make them RAID?

If you enter disk utility and choose the RAID tab you can drag the drives you want to assign into the create RAID drive and choose if you want RAID 1 (mirrored) or RAID 0 (striped with no redundancy) etc. and the OSX system will create the RAID array for you.
