Hello all,

We cannot install Windows Internal Database feature and Remote Desktop Connection Broker role on a server from Server Manager Server 2016

We are being told that the server requires a restart "The request to add or remove features on the specified server failed. The operation cannot be completed, because the server that you specified requires a restart"

I just restarted it

It is installing locally or remotely - same error

What can I do?

Have you had a look at some of the fixes online? They suggest that you need to add some permissions for internal services to solve this issue.

You could try restarting the 'Remote Registry' service and see if that helps as some people have reported that solvies the issue.
