Just to say that there are two options here:

If you wish to add the SD card seamlessly to your internal storage so that it can be used for apps eetc. then there is a maximum of 32GB

If you just wish to use the SD card for storage then the maximum is definitely higher - I am using a 128GB card in my phone currently without problems.
