Just to say that after a reinstall of Windows 7 Premium I was getting a message regarding the cooling system on a Toshiba P755 laptop.

That there was a problem with the cooling system and that it needed repair.

I checked the temperature of the CPUs which was around 50 degrees Celsius, no problem.

Fan speed was fine.

I upgraded the BIOS with a boot CD as some people advised, and this made no difference.

I then saw that the value added software installed might be creating a problem.

I went into programs and features and modified the install to remove laptop diagnostics.

Unticked the relevant box, completed the uninstall and restarted.

The problem has disappeared 🖐
