Handbrake will not find a UK DVD as a source - it says no valid source whether I use the files or drive itself.

Can the system play the DVD?

Handbrake actually uses the onboard DVD drivers to decode/encode the file.

If you cannot play it then download the free Windows 10 DVD player using Microsoft Store making sure you have closed the Handbrake application before installation.

Once the drivers are ionstalled, ensure that you can play the DVD on the system and then try and encode the DVD in Handbrake again.

Thanks for this - I also found I needed to download the latest of:

LibDVDCSS x86 version

LibDVDCSS x64 version

LibDVDCSS OSX version

In order to decode the DVD properly as there were multiple file location detections for different chapters etc. that just garbled the DVD decoder.
