Hello all,

I am trying to add 2008 R2 servers to a Remote Desktop Gateway Deployment, but when I add the servers using server manager as gateway servers, the message is displayed as 'unable to connect to the server by using windows powershell monitoring'

Do I need to open some ports?

Thanks

You can enable remote server management on the 2008 R2 server by clicking the Configure Server Manager Remote Management link on the right hand side of Server Manager but this will still not allow you to connect a 2008 R2 box to a Remote Desktop Deployment on 2012 R2 as it is not support - you will need to configure some new gateway servers. 😰
