Hello,

Can you help?

We have just reinstalled a Dell Optiplex with a Windows 10 Pro install from afresh.

The PC runs various applications for web and graphics design, such as Adobe PS6 and other bits.

It also runs Microsoft Office 2007 and various online marketing tools such as linnworks desktop.

All was well, we loaded the user's roaming profile and got them up and running but then the Jing software seemed to fail.

Next it wanted to restart to complete some updates and now it just does a BSOD (blue screen of death) at ACPi.sys with an 0x0000001 error.

It didn't skip a beat whilst we were setting it up????

What could have happened.

We have checked with the user who is adamant it was not knocked over or damaged... 😞

We did replace the hard disk and have had no further problems, but it does seem strange that there were no issues for the whole time it was being set-up.
