V15 G2-ALC Laptop (Lenovo) - 82KD Caps Lock, Num Lock, Esc Key and Power Light (RHS) Solid - Backlight on screen appears to light and fade repeatedly. No sound, no changes. Have tried full battery decharge, different RAM and removing most components.

This wasn't exactly the same model, but they reported good things: FIX With the machine powered off And me attached to suitable static straps Used a conventional screwdriver to remove back cover screws, noting positions of all (in case different lengths) Then with a spudger prised the plastic back open CAREFULLY Removed all components I could, which in my case was memory, network card, nvme Disk Waited a while (say 30 mins) Reinserted Power ON ... wahoo it worked Power OFF Replace back cover and screws back. I googled around to find a BIOS reset button but could not fine one My laptop does not have a BIOS button on side (like my older Lenovo U430) The Power ON worked! My machine now functions normally

OK so I had to reprogram the BIOS with a $7 USD USB plug interface and I used this file: Lenovo V15 G2-ALC Type (82KD) (GLCN51WW).bin Now both v15 laptops are working fine - it was just bricked beyond emergency update recovery. I had to erase the existing chip data before I could proceed but after that it was surprisingly easy!
