| I am having issues with a 2008 R2 Server connecting from Windows 11 It just seems to time out even though we are on the same LAN at 1GB It does say 'Preparing the destination computer' which I son't normally see, then it fails. |

| For some reason this is only happening when said user is not already logged in. If they are just disconnected then there is no problem. This is on a RD Gateway in a different domain to the host with a trust in place, both directions. |
