| Hello My Macbook Air has an issue. It no longer lets me use the backlit keyboard as it says it is disabled. I just see a sign indicating that the light levels cannot be changed? It seems to fix itself if I reboot it but only for a while. I am presuming therefore that it is not an issue with the hardware or wiring. What is the issue do you think? |

| If you are trying to use the Macbook in broad daylight, it will automatically disable the backlight in the keyboard until the room is dark enough to warrant its use. If you draw the blinds or hold your hand over the webcam to obstruct the light you should see the functionality return. |
