I think our problem is similar to the one below but as it is a different error I will start a new thread and hopefully we can resolve both issues: Log Name: Directory Service Source: Microsoft-Windows-ActiveDirectory_DomainService Date: 10/03/2021 09:55:53 Event ID: 1555 Task Category: Replication Level: Information Keywords: Classic User: ANONYMOUS LOGON Computer: dc01.domain.local Description: This directory server will not be available to clients until it has completed an initial synchronization of each writeable directory partition that it holds. At this time, these initial synchronizations have not been completed. The synchronizations will continue. Event Xml: 1555 0 4 5 0 0x8080000000000000 16187 Directory Service dc01.domain.local Our other DCs are down but this one holds the FSMO roles - there is a registry setting to confirm the domain is valid but I cannot remember what it is or where to find it!!! ](,) ](,)
