Hello We are seeing two errors on a Windows 2012 R2 box that seem to indicate we are unable to download updates for drivers due to some licensing issue??? The messages are Event ID 122 and 512 Event ID 122 shows in the event log as: Log Name: Microsoft-Windows-DeviceSetupManager/Admin Source: Microsoft-Windows-DeviceSetupManager Date: 02/09/2019 13:45:41 Event ID: 122 Task Category: None Level: Warning Keywords: User: SYSTEM Computer: %computername%.domain.local Description: Access to drivers on Windows Update was blocked by policy Event Xml: 122 0 3 0 0 0x4000000000000000 14977 Microsoft-Windows-DeviceSetupManager/Admin %computername%.domain.local And 512 is: Log Name: Microsoft-WS-Licensing/Admin Source: Microsoft-WS-Licensing Date: 02/09/2019 13:23:38 Event ID: 512 Task Category: None Level: Error Keywords: Service Keyword User: domain\administrator Computer: %computername%.domain.local Description: Windows Store failed to sync machine licenses. Result code 0x80070002 Event Xml: 512 0 2 0 0 0x2000000000000001 447 Microsoft-WS-Licensing/Admin %computername%.domain.local 2147942402 Is this because of some licensing issue, or is it something else? Our Windows server is obviously activated with a retail license. Thanks
