Hello all, Outlook 2007 appears to be stuck in a loop following a Windows 10 upgrade... :( It says: Outlook is currently indexing your items. Search results may be incomplete because items are still being indexed. Following a Windows 10 upgrade: Is this a Windows Search problem or do I need to address this in Outlook itself?

This did actually complete after another night of the laptop being left powered-on, but the PST file archives are not searching, they complain about corruption and that they require ScanPST.exe attention. I will try this and report back.

Hi Lemonde, I am trying to download ScanPST.exe from here: https://www.stellarinfo.com/inbox-repair-tool-outlook-scanpst.php Some MVPs are recommending the above solution because it never harm the integrity of original Outlook data file.

That’s not scanpst.exe It is a paid solution from STELLAR for repairing PST etc. but getting an original copy from the server is easier. It is ok, but not that reliable in my experience. Like a lot os software stuck on tha back of the MS MAPI engine it crashes when it meets a complex response the coders haven’t addressed properly. Always use IMAP rather than POP and you will never need it. Storage is so cheap now that Server space is irrelevant anyway.
