Screen/Monitor does not detect iMac HDMI signal · PC & Mac Help and Assistance

Hello,

I have an iMac that is not displaying on any screen I plug into HDMI for some reason.

The system has been reset which presumably means that the signal was working, but now I can hear the audio set-up messages but get no picture regardless of which screen I try.

Can you help me?

Tried a different HDMI lead and even a different power lead.

I can hear the narration but not see the video output!!

I'm guessing this means an appointment at the Apple store does it?

Have you tried another screen?

Sounds like an odd issue to me.
